Our Opinion :
This package contains the stylish and fairly "feature full" TCB770 - striking blue backlighting (adjustable 3-level brightness), a quality microphone, good receive and transmit performance and some useful facilities. A nice set.

This Offroader Special package includes some additional items that are Very useful for offroaders and make this a top choice for many customers.

Short Rubber Aerial

Our Unique Rubber aerial... we are the sole UK importers for this item.

It's very short (18 inches long) but works well for it's size, and is very tough - especially with the addition of a small shock spring (included) which makes it very hard to break.

This aerial has two SWR tuning rings that lock together to prevent movement through vibration.

Standard 3/8" thread so you can simply unscrew the Springer aerial and screw this on.

  

Small Extension Speaker

A compact high quality extension speaker - almost essential in a loud offroad vehicle...

This speaker is ideal for use in offroad vehicles as it has a water-resistant mylar cone which doesn't mind the occasional splash of water and won't suffer from being inside a vehicle thats prone to condensation.

Supplied with 160cm of cable with plug fitted and a mounting bracket

ONE PLUG NOT FITTED If you plan to install the CB permanently you may have to get the aerial cable through a small hole/gap - this can be difficult with the plug fitted, so we can supply the aerial cable with the plug included but not fitted, so you can solder it on when you have routed your cable
ALTERNATIVE AERIALS The Springer is great for offroad but if you spend most of the time onroad, or just want an alternative to the Springer - we can offer some different aerials
