Traditional "swing needle" signal meter and large backlit LCD display which you can switch to show either channel number or frequency readout.

Nicely built and works well, the earlier version of this was voted "CB Best Buy" in LRO (Land Rover Owner magazine) test in April 2002

Our Opinion :
The Midland 248 Excel is an excellent set - top grade components used, well designed, good facilities which are well implemented. The new Surface Mount Technology board design should give the unit a long life in tough environments... a worthy flagship to the Midland 2015 range of CB's!
