Speco AES-4 High Quality Amplified Speaker For CB Radios, Scanners, Etc

Will give upto 16w RMS output (10w minimum) when connected to your CB's extenrnal speaker output (16w might not sound like a lot but it's LOUD!)

Ideally suited to handheld CB's and scanners etc, but also suitable for normal mobile CB's as long as the points in the Important Notes section below are adhered to.

• High gain electronic amplifier circuit, gives at least 10w of high quality audio from 1/8th watt input

• 285cm connecting lead with standard 3.5mm jack plug for connecting to the extension speaker or earphone output

IMPORTANT NOTES :
• When operating this unit with a normal "in-vehicle" CB radio, your CB's volume control should be set at a minimum, and slowly turned up until the desired volume is reached.
• If operating this unit with a normal "in-vehicle" CB radio that makes a beep or series of beeps (that are a set volume, and independant of the CB's volume control) when it turns on, we recommend that you do not connect this speaker until you have switched the CB on, or alternatively fit a switch in the power lead to this speaker so you can switch it on and off independantly of the CB. This is because those "turn on" beeps would not only be very loud but could potentially overdrive the amplifier circuit of this speaker
• DAMAGE TO THIS SPEAKER CAUSED BY OVER DRIVING IT WITH TOO MUCH INPUT WILL NOT BE COVERED BY WARRANTEE.
  Such damage is perfectly avoidable with a little bit of care with the CB's volume control and avoidance of any "turn on" beeps.
