An impressive set with a good speaker, not too overloaded with features but offering good performance and value for money.
Nicely made and works well and the wide choice of display colours is a nice touch.
A good choice for DIN mounting as it's supplied with a nice DIN cage fitting as standard.
The Midland 220 multi-standard CB Radio

MAIN FEATURES : - Multi-Standard channels - legal in the UK and most of Europe
- Advanced ESP2 "Noise Killer" squelch system for less background noise
- Highly efficient front-facing speaker so it can be mounted in dash etc without the need for an extension speaker (although an extension speaker output jack is still provided on the back of the unit)
- LCD display with signal meter and function indicators - you can choose to see either channel numbers or frequency readout
- Rotary channel change on facia
- Rotary controls for Mic Gain and RF Gain (in normal use these should be turned up fully clockwise)
- AM/FM/LCR button - press momentarily for Last Channel Recall or press and hold for 3 seconds to enable band switching between UK and EX bands when in the UK configuration button (when abroad in a country where AM is allowed, this button switches between AM and FM)
- EMG button giving instant access to channel 9 (emergency channel) or channel 19 (calling channel)
- Two user programmable memories so you can have easy access to your favourite/most commonly used channels
- Heavy duty microphone with up/down channel change buttons

ONE PLUG NOT FITTED If you plan to install the CB permanently you may have to get the aerial cable through a small hole/gap - this can be difficult with the plug fitted, so we can supply the aerial cable with the plug included but not fitted, so you can solder it on when you have routed your cable
ALTERNATIVE AERIALS The Springer is great for offroad but if you spend most of the time onroad, or just want an alternative to the Springer - we can offer some different aerials
