An excellent quality echo chamber for use on Intek & President 6 pin wired CB's.

IMPORTANT :
Due to complications making the factory wired 6 pin version of the EC-990 work with modern CB radios, the easist option is to go for one of our rewired 4 pin ones, but with the 6 pin Intek, Albrecht, President and MOST Midland CB's (not Midland 78), we know that the +12vDC supply is there on the middle (6th) pin. Other makes vary even from model to model as to whether this power supply is there or not.

As it's always there on the Intek & President CB's, we can use it to power the echo chamber, HOWEVER this still leaves us with the problem that this 12v supply is not continued out of the socket on the front of the echo, so using the standard supplied Intek or President mic won't work as they need that power to function correctly!

With this version, we supply it with a heavy duty 6 pin dynamic microphone you you get the advantage of not having to have a separate power supply for the echo chamber, plus the dynamic mic is in many cases stronger and more substantial than the mic that originally came with the radio, plus it does away with the Up & Down buttons which can be a nightmare for accidental channel changes! You also get a mounting bracket & side screws for the echo included - it's only the P6 version of the echo that comes with these!

(There are 3 President radios [Harry II ASC, Truman ASC & Teddy ASC] which come with microphones that don't need the 6 pin supply to function, and these can be used with the other version of EC-990P6 we have available here : EC-990P6 for President Harry II, Truman & Teddy)

These are great fun and highly adjustable so you can have just a hint of echo or go completely over the top - or anything in between!!

The echo delay control has a wide range of adjustment and creates a "reverb" effect when set to the lowest delay time... the more you increase the delay time, the more time there is between "repeats" so you can go through whats called a "slapback" effect right the way through to a classic long repeat time Echo.
