This unit has a socket for your CB aerial lead to plug into, and two leads coming from it - one to go to the CB, and the other to go to your car stereo.

It routes the signals to the appropriate unit, and although you cannot listen to the car stereo when you transmit on the CB - it's a good solution if you can only have one aerial. This aerial does need to be a CB one, and preferably one over 3' long or radio performance will be poor.
