Using the right accessories can turn a handheld CB into a very versatile unit - capable of fully hands-free use and when connected to an external vehicle-mounted aerial will work just as well as a conventional CB.
All the accessories here will work with the two current handheld CB's on the market, as well as the majority of PMR446 units that use a 3.5mm & 2.5mm dual plug. (Many of the Alan/CTE accessories will need a bit of the plastic around the plug "shaved" to fit the AH27.) Alan, CTE & Midland are all brands of the same firm.
They will also work on most CB units that are no longer available, i.e. Eurosonic, Danita, Radio Shack and a large number of others. This is with the notable exception of Team branded units which used a different plug wiring - we do carry a limited number of accessories for Team handhelds.
