Gutter Mounts can be an easy way of mounting an aerial. The earth connection is usually made by two screws that tighten down into the trough of the gutter.
If you have a Land Rover or Range Rover, these connections will need protecting on the aluminium metal so that oxidisation doesn't occur and stop the aerial working properly. One good way is using a clear plastic sealer spray as it's transparent and not so obvious to the eye, unlike the other way of protecting it - red oxide paint.
