You definately get what you pay for when it comes to cable and you should always get the best you can - if you are concerned with getting the best performance from you CB that you can, you should not ignore the cable and we would recommend using Mini RG8 cable throughout. It is slightly thicker than RG58 but has much better loss characteristics and fits the plugs much better for a stronger and more water-tight fit.
Cable supplied by the meter - we can supply any length in one piece up to 100m.
