These packages are based around handheld CB radios that come with an adaptor so that you can use an external antenna and power the handheld from your cigarette lighter socket.

You get the usual choices of aerial and mount, just as in most of our other packages.

You may find a Speaker Microphone handy so you don't have to bring the whole unit up to your face to speak and hear.

Our standard Extension Speakers plug into the top of the handheld which can make them easier to hear. Only one item can be plugged in at once - extension speaker or speaker mic.

The range of a handheld CB using it's own aerial is very limited thanks to the "Faraday Cage" effect... energy (the signal) travels around a metal box or cage (the vehicle) but does not pass though in or out of it
