Package mounts info   7m aerial leads for LWB vehicles
2.5 Inch U-bolt mount   |    Dome mount   |    Gutter Mount   |    Magnetic Mount   |    PSM-1 Rear/Side mount   |    Roofrack/Bar mount   |    Short Bar mount   |    Widget mount   |

In our Package Deals all the aerial mounts come supplied with cable.

If you have a LWB vehicle and especially if you plan to bring the cable in through the rear door and up to a CB in the front, the chances are that the standard length is not going to be long enough.

For example, our Shogun has a Sharman AM1035 Magmount (which has a 5.5m lead) about 2 foot forward of the rear door and cable routed in and down to the floor and along the side and it reaches under the drivers seat, no further.

Magmounts and Guttermounts have factory fitted cables and will require a joiner and extra length of cable, like our 2m aerial lead extension.

Dome mounts, PSM-1 mounts and roofrack mounts are sent with cables we make up here so it's easy to specify that you want a longer cable by just adding whoever many metres of cable you want, to your order.

You can do this by adding this item to the basket : 1m of good quality aerial cable and then updating the quantities to specify how many metres you need, on top of the standard 5m the mounts come with.

There is a small amount of loss (not much) when using a joiner so having one length is preferable.

To clarify, below is a list of our most popular mounts and the options for having a longer cable :

Important : Whatever length of cable you have, you should never have a coil in it ... if you have any excess cable try to 'snake' it randomly somewhere or shove it behind a panel or something ... even a 'figure of 8' can upset the SWR Readings
